American Royal Arts Donates a Portion of Muhammad Ali Sales to Haitian Relief Effort
In conjunction with the company’s launch of “The Scottsdale Collection” of signed Muhammad Ali artwork, American Royal Arts President Jerry Gladstone announced that a portion of the proceeds from the sale of the collection would be donated to the Haitian relief effort through the American Red Cross.
Eye Can Art: a Small, Local, Women-Owned Company Wins Big Awards for All-Inclusive, Repeat-Use Art Kits
The three Seattle women who own Eye Can Art have garnered a collection of top toy industry awards in 2009 for several of their all-inclusive, repeat-use art kits. Shannon Ninburg, Bridget Daly, and Moria Blair captured a 2009 Creative Child Magazine's Toy of the Year award for their Book in a Box Kit. The Eye Can Art Printmaking Kit and Sumi-e Kit each won an Oppenheim Toy Portfolio 2009 Gold Seal Award. The Printmaking Kit also won a Tillywig award in 2009. And in 2008, the Printmaking Kit and the Sumi-e Kit brought home the coveted Parents Choice awards.
